In
the workshop, important issues regarding how to answer reviewers' comments in
order to increase the probability of acceptance for publication were discussed.
Among the important points, three golden rules were reviewed, including
"answer completely", "answer politely" and "answer
with evidence". Moreover, other important points were reviewed, such as
how to respond to reviewers’ comments when there is a conflict in the comments
of different referees, how to reduce manuscript (a request typically comes from
the journal), and how to respond to comments when the reviewer is wrong or
impolite.
